Thrift Store
The Lansing St. Vincent De Paul Store, located at 1020 S. Washington , a few blocks south of the downtown business district, plays an important role in providing assistance to those in need and in providing as outstanding community source for a variety of donated merchandise at very affordable prices. The store has established an excellent reputation for the volume, quality and affordability of its merchandise, its spacious, modern, bright and clean building and it friendly, helpful and professional staff. Those who cannot afford the clothing, furniture, appliances and other household items may be provided for through a Vincentian initiated referral system.

The store, by accepting tons of usable donated items every year, is one of the major recycling resources in Mid-Michigan. Used goods are given a second life and kept out of landfills. Clothes that are not usable are sent overseas to underdeveloped countries where they are given a new life. The store owes its success and ability to help so many people to the 15,000 generous annual donors. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and provides tax deductible receipts for donors of merchandise. It also operates a home pick-up service Monday-Friday in an approximate 20 mile radius of Lansing.
